A Western Sydney 24/7 telephone service, providing free professional short term support and linking consumers with the appropriate mental health services.
Mental Health Hotline
Staffed by mental health professionals, this state-wide telephone number gives people access to expert mental health advice, support and referrals for people dealing with a mental health problem. Where appropriate they can put you in contact with the local mental health crisis or acute care team.
Anyone across Australia experiencing a personal crisis or thinking about suicide can contact Lifeline for support
Suicide Prevention Call Back Service
The Suicide Call Back Service provides crisis counselling to people at risk of suicide and those bereaved by suicide. People who are not linked in with current professional support can also access up to six sessions of ongoing counselling with the same counsellor at scheduled time
Beyond Blue - 24 Hour Helpline
A telephone service you can call any time to talk with a trained mental health professional, who will listen, provide support and point you in the right direction for the cost of a local call (could be more from mobiles).

The Salvation Army’s 24 hour telephone counselling service, providing free professional short term support, 24 hours a day, to people in need.
Domestic Violence Line
The Domestic Violence Line is a statewide free-call number that provides telephone counselling, information and referrals for women and same-sex partners who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence.
NSW Rape Crisis Centre
24/7 telephone and online counselling service for anyone in Australia who is at risk of or has experienced sexual assault, family or domestic violence. The service, which is staffed by experienced and qualified trauma counsellors, can assist with:
- Understanding and managing the immediate and ongoing impacts of experiencing sexual assault, family or domestic violence,
- Achieving safety
- Making decisions about what to do, and
- Information about Police, accessing counselling, accommodation, legal and other services in the local area
National sexual assault and domestic family violence counselling service
Kids Help Line
Kids Helpline is a free, 24 hour counselling service for young people aged 5-25 years. Counselling is offered by phone, email and over the web.
