A national organisation devoted to increasing awareness and understanding of depression in the community. Its website contains useful depression resources (including people’s personal experiences of depression) and information on current initiatives. BeyondBlue also provides a 24 hour telephone information service which is available to provide information on depression and anxiety and advice on how to get help, where to get services and support Australia-wide.

Reach Out
Reach Out is Australia’s leading online mental health organisation for young people, providing practical support to help young people get through everything from everyday issues to tough times. It offers online tools (500+ fact sheets, self-help apps, personal stories, and online forums) that address youth mental health and reduce youth suicide, and to help parents and carers improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people within their family environment.
