For people who do not speak English you can contact these two organisations for translated information and resources about mental illness for you or a family member.

  1. Transcultural Mental Health Centre provides support and clinical services, support groups, education and training, a library, publications, and a toll free telephone information service. Phone: Toll Free 1800 648 911 (you can request a translator if needed).
  2. Multicultural Mental Health a national body dealing with multicultural mental health and suicide prevention. Its website provides information and fact sheets in a large number of community languages. Phone: 1300 136 289
